    Using Footer in Word 2000

    Hi, I'm trying to put a footer in my word document, but in Word 2000 the bottom margin defaults to 3.08. If you accept this the footer is really high up the page, and if you ignore it and put a smaller margin, the footer doesn't print. Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks Kim
