    but how do I have some things execute every time and some things only execute if the backup suceeds? Does arc-serve pass a status value to my bat file?

    I need to have two post commands, or at least some idea as to whether or not a backup succeeded No matter what, I want to bring all services back up. If the backup was sucessful, I also want to delete all files in one particular directory. Any ideas how I can do this? please cc me at work...

    What username/password does the project server use to send emails via exchange? It seems to be dropping back to SMTP and I'm guessing its because it cannot login to the exchange server because I never created the user account.

    Project Server 2002

    we are in the middle of this users with just cals are very limited in what they can do. It looks like it is just for reporting back status. Anyone making real changes has to have project itself installed locally.

    and in a similar vein.....when project sends emails, they are rejected by my server because it is trying to use outlook names as SMTP addresses.....

    I have recently installed MS Project server on my small business server. When I try to connect via web access, I get You have entered an incorrect user name/password combination. (5005) even when I use the system administrator username and password. Is there something else I need to do...

    vpn linksys router.

    I'm guessing the win2k server is behind router 1 router 2 should not need any tweaking...it's initiating everything anyway (I assume). router 1 needs to allow ports 1723, 47 and 500 and PROTOCOL 50. That being said, I would get a second VPN linksys router instead.

    test suggestions

    We're doing a win32 network-related device driver. I need to compile a list of products to do interop test because we are not doing everything "by the book." Some product types I'm looking at are VPN clients, firewalls and virus scanners. Would you suggest any other product types...

    Survey: What do you use to backup exchange?

    I'm using Arc-Serve and I don't like it and I barely trust it and their support model is horendous....$95 to get a bug fix....like it was my fault their software is buggy.
