Not sure what the problem is, I have 3904's and 1120 and 1140 IP sets. Everything worked at one time, now I have to, of course go off hook, then hit my "make set busy", then my InCalls key 0, then my screen display AgentID...????
We usually set the default password to the user's ext. One thing you can do is change the password to something you pick and just advise the user. Once they log in the system will prompt them to change it.
My ICB was 4.0 and I had the same issue, what I did was Upgrade the Firmware to 4.03.05 which is free on Nortel's web site. This upgrade is done via the CLI, then reseat the card, then log into the ICB via the CLI and reset the BUI password. That was my fix
