Does anyone know of a program that would let me run a full screen app in a window and/or just be able to alt tab out of it? Mostly this question is asked because I am a gamer but I hate it when games force you not to be able to alt tab out of them.

That should work. Just stick away from the new features of VB6. Im guessing that would cause some issues. I would give you a list of new features of VB6 but hell I cant think of any. :)
I think the biggest issue is that the programs are not backwards compatible with VB5 or VB4 once you have edited them in VB6. At least as far as I remember I have not done anything like this in a long time.
Well there is no way that I know of to embed VB code into VC. But if you made most of the VB program into an Active X control that would save you a lot of recoding. I have never tried this on a large scale like you seem to have here but It should work. And if your version of VB does not let you...
