Help - Only USRobotics routers will connect to cable ISP
I have customers using Edimax, SMC, Ansel and USRobotics broadband routers to share their cable internet connections, the ISP made an unknown change and now only those with USRobits routers remained connected. Cable ISP says they made no changes (untrue). Hope someone knows what configuration...- HexMex

Un-Accessible Hard Drive...
You are probably experiencing a common harddisk failure. Possibly the platter isn't spinning, remove the drive from the case while leaving it connected, fire-up your PC and use a screwdriver as a stethoscope by placing the handle against your ear. Got my first PC in 1983, it was the third year of the IBM PC and was called IBM XT (model 5160) and I don't think DOS was at version 2 yet. Of course "format.com" was there and so was fdisk.exe to initialize the 10MB harddisk. Before using fdisk one had to run a bootstrap instruction...- HexMex
