MS office 2000 on NT
I had this problem as well .. "Office" .. specifically Word is looking for the Data.msi file. If you did a network install as the administrator, I suggest you share that network folder as something like "Office2K", then map a drive from the client computer to the new share...- JPietan

Adobe Premiere
While we're only running Adobe Reader, I've been finding that the 5.1 version doesn't play nice with W2K (sp2/3). Even though my users are powerusers, AR will only print one page at a time and usually only the first page. When I put the pdf on a AR 4.0 W2K machine, it prints fine. I think...- JPietan

Found it..... [morning] Considering it was 8pm when we bought the computer and didn't get down to finish installing it until 10pm and then hookup and what not ... and then a complete restoration of the operating system and software and all told I didn't get to bed until 3am, I think you'll all...- JPietan

Ok, bought a new compaq xp home 2.0Mhz p4 512M ram, integrated Pro 10/100 nic. We booted just fine and actually connected ONCE to our ISP via a cable modem. Going through the machine, we removed AOL and Compuserve software. We lost our connection. Alright, we Restored with the Compaq...- JPietan
