Now that I've got my nav integrated into my page, I notice that everytime my page refreshes my slider jumps back to a certain spot just off the left hang link. Is there a way I can specify a certain starting point to my slider?

Hi.
I'm trying to create a snapping slider that locks in at three different positions along its length. So far, I've been able to get it to snap at the end and beginning positions by simply defining positions nearing the extremes to = the extremes.
Example below:

But now I'm at a...
I've just set up a page that utilizes a write() function to turn on and off text display - the point being that I need various text descriptions to appear next to fullsized images by clicking on a thumbnail image of the same picture above it.

Can you fire each event by themselves? Are your events separated by a comma? Have you double checked to make sure you've placed the mouseovers on a handler that supports that feature?
..Dunno, but just keep pecking away at the possiblities.

I've just recently installed Mandrakelinux 10.0 on a dual booted, dual processor machine. To get the installation to even initiate, I had to add in noapic nolapic behind the linux install option. It worked just fine, but now when I run Linux I get the APIC error: 04(04) message scrolling over...
Was this the PC solution you said you found?

If not, then it seems to be a color scheme issue. CMYK colors don't export to web. You'll need to change your image into RGB before optimizing using the Save For Web feature.

I recommend Illustrator for vector images since it's the most versatile Adobe program that does that. The Adobe site has some tutorials for learning how to do that:

Matzki,
So, is there a file type that preserves this PANTONE info, or do I need to recreate my logo in Illustrator?
Thank you!

Hello!
I'm trying to create a letterhead in Illustrator (logo at the top of an 8.5x11, with an address, etc, on the bottom), but don't know Illustrator all that well. So, I built the logo in Photoshop using its Pantone library, saved the logo as a TIF, and imported that into Illustrator. Now I...
Ok, the problem really isn't expandibility; my site expands just fine an any browser. And it's not that my page doesn't display correctly, it's that it sometimes doesn't display correctly on Mozilla and Netscape.
Like this, for instance: http://www.expectwebriches.com/consulting.php

I've created a site using DreamweaverMX, which of course works fine in IE. But when I view my site in Netscape or Mozilla there are suddenly all kinds of <td> and <table> positioning problems.
For instance, when I first open my home page the body portion under the navigation will either run up...
Ahh!! So you imbed the pop function in the minimize function... I get it. This was EXTREMELY helpful! You gave me exactly what I needed!

Ok. I think I'm getting this, but I've got some questions.
First, I've editted the timer script to include one of my functions and it seems to work. Like this:
//Timer
var myMinutes=.1; // declare how many minutes you want allowed on the site/page
var myTime = myMinutes * 60; // convert time...
I'm trying to make a funtion that executes a few seconds after a page is loaded, and this function needs to execute two other functions I've already created. But since I'm new to javascripting I'm not really sure where I should even start.. I looked at the getTime() funtion, but that seems to...
No. It's like those popups for loading programs like Photoshop or Illustrator or any number of videogames... you know, small constrained windows in the center of the screen. Like this:
Any ideas?
