    I have a Partner voicemail Rel 5 that is not always giving a beep tone after the greetings at individual mailboxes. Callers don't know when to leave a message.

    I have run into a couple of MLS 18D sets, recently, where transmission over the handset is lost. After replacing handsets and receivers to make sure they were OK, I opened the sets and found that touching the circuit board almost anywhere, restores voice temporarily.     Is there a way to record over, or get rid of, the canned message a caller hears when transferring to ext 10 or entering '0'- "transferring to receptionist" The person at this ext is an office manager and doesn't want callers to think she is just a receptionist :-)
