    At this point in time, cat5e can do everything cat6 can do, via new compression. I'd be VERY suprised if you noticed a difference between the two media types. Why not buy a few runs of cat6 and test it, to put your mind at rest? steven

    SPIDS are only used to define channels for voice and data and we don't use voice so that would have no bearing (pardon the pun) on the problem.
