Thank you.
...maybe I'm a little silly...
I checked in the Compaq Management Agents the tab named Process Monitor - then I added the processes as "start&stop" but I cannot manage them in the browser.
I can I work with them?
Thanks again
Hi all,
I would like to know how to manage with the services of Windows 2000 Server.
I can work with the cluster's resources... but not with the system services.
Is there a tool that I have to install?
Thanks a lot.

Hi all.
I have an application that runs under a Unix server and I published it in my intranet through Citrix/MetaFrame for some Windows users.
To run the app it needs an authentication on the Unix box via telnet then an Xwindows session appears and the app starts.
My problem is:
Only 1 (one)...
Hi all!
Is it possible to deny users from moving from their home directory or editing files that are not in their home?
I tried with chmod:
chmod o-x /etc
But then the users cannot login.
In my box (dgux 4.0f) there aren't ACL.
Thanks.

Thanks mrmac228 but I find the user.log file empty instead the auth.log file contains some info:
Jun 5 07:28:03 system_name login: ROOT login on /dev/ttyp1
I haven't configured the syslog daemon and I think it doesn't work in a good way. Can syslog warn me with an email or a pop-up message...
Hi,
I have a dgux 4.0f box and I would like to know if there is a way to notify the sysadmin that someone tried to su root or tried to log with the root account.
I saw how Polycenter works but I can't buy such a tool.
Thanks a lot.

I am trying to use Samba in my network...
I configured my Unix box with samba in a domain. If I connect a windows client - in the same domain - through "Add Network Drive", it works!
But if I try to connect from a PC on a different domain I can only see the Unix server not the shared...
Thanks! But the System replied with:
The RPM packages REQUIRE Tru64 UNIX V5.1 as a minimum version of the operating system for installation.
I have 4.0f

Hi!
I have an alpha server 4.0f DIGITAL UNIX with 4 cpus.
I need a tool that checks the usage of all cpus, not like iostat that considers only the first one.
I need also to export the data in a file.
I used "kdbx cpustat" but I wasn't able to extract the data.
If someone can help...
