I've inherited an Exchange org with the following config. One Exchange site. 5 servers in the site. Two of them are running the Directory Synch service. One has the service turned off. The other two don't even have it listed. What does this affect and how many need to be running?

On 2003 it is my understanding that you need to have as many Windows 2003 TSCALs as you do devices that connect. In 2000 you were granted a CAL for Windows 2000 and above clients, but for 2003 the changed it to need a TSCAL for each device. You should over buy for growth.

How can I tell?

I can view the existing administrators, but all properties are grey. I cannot edit or add new administrators.
