Thanks Tupliphead, I've got WSUS set up now. I can see a listing of what's there, but not in the format I want. Was hoping for a nice .csv format.
Oh well, I'll work with what WSUS can give me. Thanks again!

Hey everyone, wasn't sure which forumn to post this question.
Does anyone know where I can get a complete listing of every single hotfix, security rollup, etc for Windows 2003 and 2000 servers?
Can't believe there's no complete listing in a download format from MS's site.
I'm trying to...
Hey everyone, I've got a question regarding a bulk modify on some user accounts in a 2003 domain I've got.
I know about dsmod and dsadd, but I don't see any switch in there to affect a user's Dial-in settings.
Does anyone know if there is a switch to enable/disable that setting?
I know...
Hey guys, made a change to the NICs that were listening on the RDP-tcp connection and can connect via the .ica file now.
The box has 2 NICs, one was disabled. But the properties of the listener stated for both NICs.
Guess that was my issue! Thanks again for the help!!
Hey everyone, thanks for the replies. Here's my info:
I am able to attach to the box via RDP, so that piece looks good.
Also, I can attach via a custom connection through Program Neighborhood - problem lies with a user trying to connect via an .ica file. I'd like the users to access my app...
Hey everyone, hope someone can shed some light on this one for me.
I have a Metaframe XP server running on Windows 2000. It's a single box and part of our 2k AD.
I published the desktop for users but when they launch the .ica file I created they get the following error message:
"Unable to...
Hey everyone, got a basic question about a DNS server.
I've got a root 2003 DC setup. Now I want to set up my 2nd DC and also run DNS on it.
It will be at a remote location with clients connecting to it. So I need to have the clients update their info in DNS on that box that is local to...
no, it was a fresh 2003 install. it sees itself ok.
am able to nsloookup on the domain name itself and find all the DCs
i agree, it appears to be isolated somehow but i can't see where
Hi djtech2k, I did initially point my 2nd DC to itself to create the primary zone on itself.
Then I pointed it at my first DC for it's primary DNS
I am running WINS from my first DC
What is weird is that I am able to access the shared folders and sysvol from my first DC no problem. I am also...
Hey everyone, i've got a head scratcher here that I can't seem to pin down.
I just set up a new 2003 domain. Only have 2 controllers. Both DCs have DNS installed, though I have my 2nd DC pointing at my first DC for it's primary DNS. NSLOOKUP's and such work fine. Both DCs have an AD...
actually i have tried going to it's A record and checking to update the PTR record, but it doesn't seem to create one in the reverse lookup zone.
i repoint some of the other DNS servers that the client is getting from DHCP and they are able to join the domain now.
however, login seems a tad...
Hi Smorgan11, yes they all have their A records registered. However, they don't show up in the Reverse Lookup Zone I created, but the DCs do.
Is that a problem?
Hey everyone, hope somebody has an idea for me here.
I have set up a new 2003 AD here at work and am having some issues joining new workstations to that domain.
We currently have another AD set up here and one of those servers hands out DHCP to every client.
I created a secondary copy of the...
Hey everyone, hope someone has seen this before. I have 2000 AD and have a number of different sites set up.
I just inherited administering this a few months ago and just found one of our controllers listed in 2 different sites?? IE, I have SERVERA listed in Site1 AND Site2.
