Well, what happened is that I didn't have the correct service pack in windows to run the reports with the charts. I am now downloading the windows updates that will correct the problem. Thanks for trying to help, though.
Hi
I created several charts, one for each employee showing their monthly prgress within a six month period. I have a form on my switchboard that has each employee's command button that when clicked will show their personal chart. The problem that I am having is that when I click on one of these...
My query consists of two other tables: one for all the Plant Employees and one for all Office Employees. These tables list the Repairs for each individual employee. I used two different queries to add the total repairs for each table. I then created another table from the queries with the totals...
Hi
I have a report that I would like to insert a chart based on three fields from a table I created. The fields being Month, Office Repairs, and Plant Repairs. I add the information for let's say September with 54 Office Repairs and 23 Plant Repairs. I also have the months October, November...
Hi
I have a report that I had done in my database that included a chart, but everytime I open up the report or go from design to print preview state, a message box opens and says "Preparing to Install" with Windows Installer as the heading. How can I stop this from happening so I can just open...
I'm kind of new to Access so you completely lost me there, however I did create 3 queries. One for Table one, which gives me the total for the scraps and then the total for the repairs. I did the same thing for table two. Then the third query I created, I just had it display the sums of the...
It doesn't give me an error. Just when I run it, the sums don't show up, when I use both tables. If I just use one table it will work. I tried unlinking the tables, that didn't work, and I did exactly what you mentioned but it didn't work. This seems to be an easy thing to do, but it doesn't...
Hi
I am trying to create a query that will pull information off of two tables. Table one and table two. In table one, I have two fields, scraps and repairs. In table two, I have two fields, scraps and repairs. The tables are from two different department. What I want the query to do is add...
For some reason, all of sudden when I open my database, Access hides my database window. I have to click unhide everytime I open it. Is there some way I can have Access open my database window without having to click unhide every time I open it?
Yes and it gives me a runtime error message of 7951: You entered an expression that has an invalid reference to the Recordset Clone property. Not sure what that means and why this code would give me that. Any suggestions?
I have a combo box that lists different values based on a search. I would like Access to display the contents of each record listed in the combo box on the same form. I have in the After Update procedure of the combo box the following code, however it doesn't work. Can anybody tell me what I am...
Sorry, didn't work. It gave me a compile error: Method or data member not found. When I typed Me. rs3 didn't show up in the list. Could be part of the reason, maybe?
Nope, that didn't do what I wanted it to. When my form is updated on the network drive, the database window is already hiden. What I wanted it to hide was Access's window itself, with the toolbars and things. So when a user clicks on the link to open my switchboard form from the network system...
I have a database that is on my C drive that I deal with all week, adding, deleting, updating. Anyway, our company has a network drive as well. For security reasons, I added a switchboard that has two reports on it and posted that in the network drive and it gets updated once a week. When a...
