    I work in the GSSC. What you need to do is to boot to the driver diskette. When you get to the screen which indicates that you do not need an update, press ctrl+F. This will cause a forced backflashing of the ServeRAID adapter.

    It is possibly that the HDD you used as a hotspare (or one of the other HDDs) had a bad stripe on it therefore, when your system did the rebuild the bad information was passed to all the HDDs in the system.
