Postfix adding server name to root domain addresses.

I have a Postfix server running on Mandrake 9.1. My main e-mail server for my domain is Exchange 2000. The Postfix server is a Webserver and Sympa Listserver. All e-mail accounts with addresses like user@domain.dom are on the Exchange server. The Postfix server has addresses that look like...

Thanks, when I checked the permissions it was set right. But, that put me on the right course. The virtual directory did not have any application settings configured for it. When I did that it worked. Thanks for the help, Jeremy

OWA error page when user logs off.

When a user selects logoff on the short cut bar, they get a "The page cannot be displayed" error. This worked about 6 months ago, but it was just brought to my attention recently that it is no longer working. Any help is greatly appreciated, Jeremy

Thanks for everything. Inexpicably it is all working now. For the past two months it hasn't been working, but now it all works fine. Haven't directly changed anything network related of yet, so I have no explaination. Thanks, Jeremy

Problem with accounts imported into Active Directory

This is my Situation. I have a domain running in Windows 2K native mode. The domain was upgraded from a NT 4.0 domain that contained accounts for all of our administrative staff and faculty. Later student accounts were imported to Active Directory from a separate exchange server. I am having...

    Macintosh and outlook

I have an old Macintosh at a field station in Mexico that people use to read their e-mails. Most e-mail systems are working. The only one they have trouble with is Hot Mail. Apparently when they browse to Hot Mail in IE the formatting of the messages is all messed up and hard to read. Any...

Windows 2000 systems not using wins to cross subnet

I flushed the DNS cache on the domain A PDC. After that I am able to run a good ping for my PDC in Domain B. Tracert looks good to. Unfortunatly I am still not able to verify the trust. Now I am getting this message: Information from the primary domain controller for the domain cannot be...

Windows 2000 systems not using wins to cross subnet

Created an LMHOSTS file on both machines as specified. Checked with nbtstat -c that it is registering and it is good. I am still getting the same problem. I tested to see if I could ping between the servers and found trouble. From the domain controller in Domain B I can ping Domain A's PDC...

Windows 2000 systems not using wins to cross subnet

Tried LMHOSTS and it didn't work. Looking into the trust relationship I found this: On my Windows 2000 Server I open Active directory domains and trusts and open the properties on my domain. I go to trusts and the one way trust with domain B is there. If I choose edit on that and then...

Windows 2000 systems not using wins to cross subnet

Created a Wins proxy on the same subnet as the problem 2000 Machines. No luck, logon is still really slow. One other thing that I noticed is if I change my DHCP assigned Wins/NetBT Node type to P-node I get a full browse list on those trouble machines. However my login is still just as slow...

Windows 2000 systems not using wins to cross subnet

I have recently upgraded an old NT 4.0 domain to Windows 2000/active directory, Domain A. This domain is on it's own subnet, 10.10.0.0. My second domain, Domain B, has it's subnet 10.10.2.0. Domain B has a one-way trust of users from Domain A. Domain B is still NT and I plan on merging it...
