we did an FTp transfer from our AIX 4.3.3 Risc system to another RISC system. When the file is Un tar'd on the other system the data is getting clobbered. It becomes full of junk characters. Both use BIN, VT100 emulation. What would be wrong? Help please.

Yes. We did use binary when we did the tar and also when we did the ftp.
