My problem is that the 3 tables I need to run the query on includes one which I have renamed using an autonumber.
If I try to refer to this table as "Table" & autonumber
in a SQL statement the quotation marks throw up an 'expected end of statement' error.
Any ideas?!?

There's a couple of challenges ahead for you. Finding the driver for DOS is the easiest. You can find them at the Intel support web site: http://support.intel.com/support/network/xc/adapter/cbem/software.htm
Either choose all OS or DOS. The all OS's version buries the cbendis.exe down under...
