    Thanks to all for your help. Once in SMS, found the CD was not in the bootlist. Have set it as first device, followed by primary and secondary disks for rootvg. Cheers, Peter.

    Hi, Been away from AIX for a long time. Have been asked to build AIX 5.2 on p5 520. How do I get it to boot from CD. I have an Ascii term cnnected and an see the boot process as it is currently. Cheers, Peter.
