I am trying to run a query that already exists, but I've deleted some defunct clients from the database and they are still showing up on the query. I'm really ignorant when it comes to this program and I MUST get labels printed today or tomorrow! Someone please help me.....How do I get rid of...
Well...this was weird. Everything looked right, but it wasn't functioning. It was a card that was built into the motherboard. I had a spankin' new Netgear card lying around so I installed that and voila!
Thanks anyway!

We recently installed service pack 2 on a computer in our office and when completed, it said "Network Card Unplugged", but we can see all the green lights on the rounter and nothing has changed otherwise. Anyone run into this problem before?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh? Well...here's the thing: I'm not an IT person, I just play one at the office, so excuse me if I sound ignorant. Knowing what I know about all the users here...I need to put that thing on maximum protection. So what do I do and where do I find it? Will it work if email is POP3?
How can I get rid of the spam at the server level? I don't currently have any Spam protection system on there. I tried to research some stuff, but never came up with the right answer.
No one responded and I wanted to try to take care of this so here's what I did (after I did another thorough...
I have a user who managed to infest her computer with spyware, adware, and spam. Besides having to clean up her computer (I've already reinstalled her operating system once), I am going to have to change her email to relieve the entire office of her funk. I have a question as to how I should...
Oh...and one more question:
I can't much trust everyone in the office to handle the updates on Windows, much less to run multiple spyware removal tools at least once a week. I would like to remove at least some of the responsibility from them by using this...
Ohhhhhhh....I need to do that on practically everyone's computer in the office. I have most of them set up as administrators due to the fact that certain programs wouldn't work for them as they didn't have the right to use them without being administrators.
I can do this over the weekend. I...
I downloaded and tried it and I think it's spiffy. I'm still going to run Spybot and Ad-aware. It's just a crying shame that we should have to run 5 programs a week just to keep the goobers out of our computers. I recently had to wipe out and re-install the operating system on my friend's...
I'm going to download and run it on my computer first...once I learn it, I'll make everyone in the office get it too. I've heard it was pretty good, but couldn't download it because of my explorer problem.
I see that you say it can be set up to automatically update itself, but can it be set...
Thanks everyone! I think the combination of the two links from aquias and the hijack help page from Mike were very helpful. We'll find out soon enough if I accidentally removed something I needed, but I think I scrutinized fairly closely.
To ShackDaddy: I already run Spybot about 1-2 times a...
Thanks Karl. Will do. Any more suggestions? Which ones would be good to add to the "ignore list"?
I think I'll try to use this thing more often. I have it on my computer at home, but never knew which to get rid of. I love this website more and more...

I deleted them. Thanks SD!

Just so long as it doesn't cause any problems, I can try to ignore it. Of course, being the anal retentive person that I am, I can't help but compulsively rush to "My Computer" every day to disconnect that "F" drive.
Thanks ShackDaddy!

Here's what I know:
1. The server is shared by our company and by the lawfirm that owns our company.
2. Our mapped drive is supposed to be "T"
3. Some people in the law firm are supposed to be mapped to "G", others to "F" because of specific programs they use.
In my case, the additional...
Well, after some work, I finally got the Explorer working enough to use the housecall scanner. It found the following, which it deemed "Non Cleanable":
TROJ DROP.A
TROJ STARTPAG.MZ
TROJ GOLID.E
TROJ GOLID.M
TROJ ISTBAR.HE
TROJ GOLID.M (AGAIN)
TROJ STARTPAG.MZ (AGAIN)
TROJ SMALL.MAR
