We have spanning-tree disabled on certain ports due to certain pc's are unable to log onto the network. The general consensous is not to disable Spanning-tree. It has worked for our network but we basically use our switch's as edge devices. We dont disable it on our distribution Switches.

Baddos is correct. That is the command to turn off spanning tree.As webnetwiz says be VERY careful when using this command. Be totally sure that no loops are on the network.

I have a small glitch on Cisco Works 2000.
When a device is added to the network, before it has been added to LMHost File it will only show the I.P address and not the device name.
If I delete the device after it has auto discovered and add it to the Host file it still comes back showing...
