I need a way to list all of the used IP addresses on a LAN so that I can assign a new Static IP to a new machine without using an existing IP.
This is a workgoup type network with no domain.
Glen: ipconfig looks normal. This machine has a static IP.
DgtLgk: noone uses this machine other than network storage. But I'll have to give that command a try.
Well mysteriously, the machine began showing up in everyones network browser late yesterday evening. Go Figure. Thanks for your help...

I have a dell 1600sc with a PERC. My array is set up with 2 volumes one is 12gb (c: drive) the other approx 21GB (d: drive - empty). I need to make the c: drive volume larger and the d: drive volume smaller. Can any one tell me what I need to do?

You could set up setup different user accounts, just logoff and on between the different accounts. This will allow you to set different backgrounds, Icon arrangements, and documents folders.
