Cluster Solution... is this possible without a SAN
Thanks for the reply Terry. Doesn't clustering come in two forms: Active/Active Passive/Active And isnt clustering the creation of a virtual server so to speak where all the servers act as one. I would also decrease the NAT timeouts... that wont only decrease overall memory usage from the NAT pool but also be less of a load overall on the router's processor. The industry leader is HP OpenView which costs ££££ whilst for open source MRTG is good as well. You can also use CiscoWorks 2000 but if you are going to pay for a NMS, you might as well get HP-OV.
