    Thank you for yr reply. But does /etc/hosts.equiv control remote access for command like telnet as well? Correct me if I'm wrong; don't both /etc/hosts.equiv and $HOME/.rhosts only control access for commands like rlogin, rsh, rcp, lpd, rdist, and rdump; but not for telnet, tn, and ftp?

    Can we add new VGDA into existing PV?

    Hello again, What happen if the VGDA in the PV is corrupted? If I can't recreate it, does this mean I have to do sumthing like backup, destroy, and recreate Pv to the VG and restore the entire VG (or LVs) into the PV? Thanks again for yr kind reply.
