    4500G QoS Questions

PC01---SwitchRemote---10GigFiber---SwitchLocal---1GbpsEthernet/TansievedTo1GBFiber---Extranet---PC02 NOTE: I've tried multiple PCs (10/100/1000 & 10/100), in different parts of the switch arraignment above, it seems jitter is consistent no matter which part - (if I'm on the 10 VLAN). Ethernet...

    4500G QoS Questions

Oops. Typo. Don't worry the Default Route is correct and working. 192.168.1.254 I don't think the PBX version should have anything to do with Jitter... Operating system: Linux 2.6.11-AV33 i686 i686 Built: Oct 21 11:26 2008 Contains: 01.2.416.4 CM...

    4500G QoS Questions

I have two Voice VLANs. 192.168.1.0/21 & 10.0.0.0/24 (and a few other Data VLANs) on two 4500G switches with 10Gig Fiber as a backbone. The 192 network (and data VLANs) have no problems with Packet Loss or Jitter, the 10 network seems to be having troubles. Both use the same switches and same...

denial event 1180: No user responding D1=0xe0011 D2=0x12

Thanks JimboJimbo, I'll try that. Montero84, do you get inbound and outbound communications? (Are you using H.323 server as apart of the Ascom setup or just the phone as a straight up SIP phone?) Perhaps you could try registering X-Lite with extension 5545. (To see if it works both-ways).

denial event 1180: No user responding D1=0xe0011 D2=0x12

This may be way out there in left-field - but if you go and do a trace in 'Trace Logger' does your sipTraceLog do you see odd extension registrations? For example, I'm trying to register extension 2052. Yet when I do a trace I see all kinds of other SIP extensions that have nothing to do with...

denial event 1180: No user responding D1=0xe0011 D2=0x12

I'm afraid not. Unfortunately, my trace gives the same error as you. A Google search brought me here. I do plan on buying some i75 Ascom phones (as recommended by Avaya) - but right now my problem similar to yours only with a SIP to Analog converter. G450/S8300/SES to AudioCodes MP-124...

    4500G Mass VLAN Programming Feature?

I'm setting up a new VoIP network with several VLANs on 15 new 4500G switches. (~675 ports) I'm having troubles programming the switches dynamically - that is, I need to program hybrid VLANs on all ports - easily. (All interfaces (except trunks) need to be hybrids, and apply dynamical learned...

'test signaling-group' errors out the 2nd time.

SOLVED: I asked my Telco to try another type of signaling. He went back to his Central Office and double checked his settings. (Without me changing anything.) He changed to 5ESS 'Custom' Signaling and suddenly everything lit up on his end. He called the test # and it's been working great...

'test signaling-group' errors out the 2nd time.

I'm troubleshooting a new PRI & G450. I'm finding that the first time I test the trunk & signaling all tests seem happy. After testing them a second time - I receive errors. Only a reboot clears the new errors. (AT&T/National B8ZS, ESF, can connect with a rollover on the CSU/DSU & striaght...

RELAY PROBLEM SOLVED: Right after posting, I connected a new XP laptop. The new laptop received the 192.168.72.50 address without a hitch. (No configuration change from that posted above). Packet sniff shows Relay Agent IP address of 192.168.72.1 (the 3com/gateway's interface for the 72...

    4500G DHCP Relay Problems/Windows 2003

I'm setting up a a new 4500G with Voice VLAN. I want my IP Phones to get addresses from my current DHCP server (ease of management etc). I can't seem to get my DHCP broadcasts to relay from the Voice VLAN into the Data VLAN. VLAN 1 (Data) = 192.168.16.0 VLAN 2 (Voice) = 192.168.72.0 I've...
