    Nortel T7000 Phones

OK we've now got Meridian Phones (M3901) but when you swap them over with our existing Digi Phones (M3310) they're dead. Do these phones need to be set up differently? Cheers Mike.

Just what I wanted to hear! That boosts my case for letting me buy the phones. Cheers!

    Nortel T7000 Phones

We've just got a load of Nortel T7000 Digital Phones which don't seem to work on our meridian 1 system. All our Digi phones are programmed in as type 2616 but come up as SL1 when you query the system (I don't understand why but it works so it's OK) Should the T7000's be programmed as a different...

    Wiring TNs on Meridian 1

BT service the Meridian so It'd make sense to get them in to do it but they'll not touch someone elses wiring, (I've already asked them) The only option from them is a full rewire. A bit extreme maybe but then they'd be responsible for the whole thing which is prob for the best.

    Wiring TNs on Meridian 1

Thanks for your replies. Our Option 11 hangs on the wall. I can find out a TN from an extension number OK but the problem is that we have a number of extension numbers which are not in use so I don't know where the TNs are connected on our patch panel. Mikeyb, when you say Frame, do you mean...

    Wiring TNs on Meridian 1

I've just taken over the PBX admin and I'm learning as I go. We have the Meridian wired to our main Patch Panel but seem to have no system documentation to say where any TN is physically connected to. I was going to try and trace the wiring but most of the wiring seems to be the same colour...
