    guys, I figured out the problem, it was permissions problem therefore cups server wouldn't allow windows to print to it Thanks anyways

    I checked the CUPS error log and its blank. On the windows XP client machine, as soon as I send the print job and I check the printer status the printer shows 1 document in queue and the status shows error. There is no error in the windows xp event viewer.
