    Hi, In Designer (prior to 6i), I worked with pl/sql packages. They were formed by including all procedure or function that were defined as module. Since we can have version on some objects (module ?) I guess you can have a package formed using different modules version. Hope this help...

    Yes, there is standards for SQL, by ANSI and ISO. They also evolved... there was SQL89 (SQL1), SQL92 (SQL2) and now SQL99 (SQL3). I think it is the latest. Try http://www.nssn.org/ or www.ansi.org But now these documents are for sale... can't find a free electronic official version...
