Boot - NT Loader - Reboot - Repeat *argh*
Just a crazy thought, I had about 35-50 IBM Netvista systems that were part of my coverage, I discovered that the Capasitors were bulged and leaking. The symptoms were VERY simular to what you discribed... I know it is far fetched but so it was also for my systems till I saw it.. And IBM...- Paulies

XP Pro reboots
Another quick check is to turn off the mode reboot on critical error. this will then give you the BSOD if there is one, then you can attempt to trace why your system is rebooting You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this...- Paulies

fails win XP install with BSOD
I just fixed one of these issues yesterday. Firstly, what is the SPECIFIC Stop error and what stop code does it give you ie. 0x00000050, ox00000000, .... I found that a NEW Ram stick was faulty, had the EU remove one, still didnt work right so he swapped it and with only the other in it did...- Paulies
