I have the same issue using windows 2003 webedition connecting back to a SQL database over port 1433. The test works fine and I can using a account that has a blank password (yuck) However, any attempts after it has been configured fail. Any ideas? Thanks

If your using Group Policy, assign the package to Computer configuration. Make sure ender both User/Computer Administrative templates Windows installer, always install with elevated privileges is enabled. (check Force) Hope that helps.
