my first thought would be to stop the job and restart the backup server and try the backup again tonight. every now and then one of my backup will just hang at 100%, this is the quick fix of course and not a solution but works for me as i do not have enough time to fully find the cause.
if you go under the job properties> settings> general you will see backup method. under there you can choose full, dif, inc, or working set.
when setting up a new job it is definitely in the setup but more towards the end. if you miss it just choose what you want to backup ie. computer...

performance log and alerts is started. I am able to view asp.net and blackberry router services but not the normal %processor time, %disk queue length, and pages\sec counters.
if I choose another computer like my older exchange server which is 2000 i am able to view all of these...
