After configuring external DNS servers does this automatically enable it or do I need to check another tab.
Also this ques have changed since 5.5, How do you check mails coming in waiting to be delivered.

Definately upgrade to 6.2
But I recomment leadning the command line first.
Here is the VPN Config fill in the blanks
And download the latest vpn client form cisco website..
access-list VPN permit ip x.x.x.x 255.255.0.0 172.x.x.x 255.255.255.0

You are having an intrnal resolution problem.
What version of Pix SW are you using.
This is what your vpn config should look like:
access-list VPN permit ip x.x.x.x 255.255.0.0 172.x.x.x 255.255.255.0
ip local pool agpool 172.x.x.x-172.x.x.x
nat (inside) 0 access-list VPN
sysopt...
Keep in mind that Exchange 2000 is Active Directory Dependent, So if your Exchange 2000 Server is in the Primary forest and all these domains are under your Forest it would work.
But since I am not sure of your setup I can only generalize..
