Thanks! Will I be able to see my nonserver Linux machines in Network Neighborhood (I can see the Linux SAMBA server by typing in smb: in Nautilus)? I'd just like one service to do everything roughly the same way on all of my machines, Linux and Windows.

Thx for all the help. I followed everyone's advice and all is well. When I saw I couldn't connect, I looked at what it was doing and realized that I also had two virtual OS network connections that were unresolvable since one was on a different subnet. I disabled them, and everything worked!!!
Murugs, thx for the help. I did what you said, and it's working on two machines. The troublesome machine is the one the SAMBA server could see but not browse (or see) the shares.
More info: I have a 2000/xp dual boot machine in my home network. All of the rest of the machines can interact...
