    Micheal, I just spoke to the guy where I bought the PC...he said it can't be the power supply, he especially made sure I had enough power to accomodate the Graphics Card.HMMMM, must be the sound something, because the PC tend to freezes whenever there are background sound (misiles, birdies ect.

    Thanx for all the replies - I did switch off the AGP fast writing and sidebands with rivatuner - still the same. Maybe I should mention that I have a 266DDR AND a 400DDR (both 256) sticks in the PC. CEH4702, what do you mean by different power supply and how do I go about trying an other power...

    I just bought a new PC. 865 MSI MBoard 4xagp, 2000 mhz Celeron, 40 gig hd, MSI FX 5600 Grapix Accelarator and 512 m RAM. The PC freezes after a while when running 3d games. The sound also freezes at the point where the PC stops responding. Somebody wrote to me and said it might be a voltage...

    I just bought a new PC, MSI MBoard, 2000mHZ Celeron with FX5600 graphix accelarator, 512 mb ram with Win98 SE. Whenever I run 3d games the PC stops responding after a while. The sound also freezes at the point where the PC stops responding. Can anybody help me please.

    I thought it was a display problem too - ran a benchmark program of nvidia and it worked fine. Reason i reinstalled win 98 - i formatted my drive...load of rubish on it.

    Last week I reinstalled Windows98 on my PC. Everything was working fine untill I tried to run a program. It started the program...everything was working for about 10 seconds and then it stopped responding. I was however able to move my mouse around.

    I've reinstalled Win SE on my AMD K6 450. Everything seems fine with windows (everything is like it used to be), but all other programs (games) crashes after about 10 seconds. I also started Airwarrior 3, but there's no color. Everything is in grayscale (white and gray). I've got a Nvidia TNT 64...
