Offline Defrag
make a local copy of the db, then confirm you have an additional 100gig of free space (db x 2 plus). the last successful offline defrag I did was on a 16gig priv, took a 3+ hours on a 2x 3.2 xeon. My last attempt failed - export to pst and import was required, painfull.- BrianHaffey

Best practice for replacing Exchange 2k with 2003
My experience with upgrading the OS and exchange is not good. If you have the recources build a new exchange box on w2k3 join the AD and the existing exchange org and move the mail boxes- BrianHaffey

How to mail disable a "mail enabled public folder"?
It seems as simple as; from the Exchange System Manager/ admingorup/ folders / public folder. righ click on the folder in question select tasks and select mail disable- BrianHaffey
