Did you ever receive any such documentation from Siemens?? I am in a similar position, Siemens arnt responding well to a simple request for a manual for a DX Mail system, we have at some point had a paper manual but that has been so as to speak 'lost in the shuffle'.
Some kind of PDF manual or...
I'm also having the exact same issue as michaelfaulkner and am yet to find a solution. We're running Exchange 2003 SP1 on a Windows Server 2003 box, all fixes applied.
Anyone have any ideas on this? - got me stumped..
first: the files being backed up *are there*
second: I'm pretty sure the BE server can access the files to back them up, as most of them have the right privelidges set (as with your example) and still have the error message:
"File xxx/xxx was not found, or could not be accessed."
It...
Hello,
I'm currently having 2 problems overall with my backup solution, using Backup Exec v9.1 (latest build no#).
I currently use a backup server to backup all machines on our network, backing up to disk the last 5 days, and duplicating that data to tape every night.
The problem is, sometimes...
I'm currently using Backup Exec v9.1 for Windows Servers to backup my entire network of Windows and Unix based machines. All Windows boxes appear to be backing up fine, no problems there at all, but with any Unix system (the ones we have being SCO Unix or Unixware) we are having problems with...
justin2000
hummm, seems like that would work i guess... Just that, at the moment, I have 4 duplicate jobs, that basically do daily duplicate (mon, tues, thu, fri),weekly duplicate (wed), monthly and yearly..
Your idea would mean having to make instead of 4 duplicate jobs.. I would end up with 20...
justin2000 - that will not work, as I have to run several jobs together, as quite a few of our machines do not run at full gigabit/100mbit.. so to get more backed up in a shorter period of time, we run several jobs together (as stated above - 5).
The problem with this though it that we cant do...
I'm currently running a backup strategy, as such that I have 5 jobs (running at the same time, offset each by 5 minutes) backing up several servers contained in Selection Lists to a Backup-to-disk device in Backup Exec 9.1.
I then make another selection list for all the 5 bits of virtual tape...
javabearSTL, although I know NTDLL.DLL is a Windows OS file, the system has been installed from scratch using integrated Windows XP SP1 disc. I've also tried it on several other XP machines and the problem seems most promenent in XP, almost as if Corel itself has a problem with the NTDLL.DLL...
Hi,
I'm having problems with CorelDraw v10 and v11 on Windows XP Pro, it will randomly crash and open the Corel Application Recovery Manager (CARM), this usually occurs either whilst opening .cdr files or editing shapes/modifying shapes within a .cdr file. The error report below is from v11...
both servers do not need to be the same hardware, the whole point of making the bootable remote IDR cd is that is copies drivers off the remote machine, puts them into a custom windows installation and installs this as almost a 'baby-os' as to which is then used to restore into..
I've had this...
qzq, what backup speeds do you recieve backing up remote servers to the 4 bay idealstor unit you purchased??? as the speeds on the website state 2640.0 MB/min, as far as i can tell these speeds would be impossible unless they'd actually backing up the idealstor unit itself, to itself.. whereas...
I'm currently testing Remote IDR in Backup Exec 9.0 and having a few problems..
Anyone have any ideas to why when I try to restore a remote machine from my media server, booting up the remote machine using the IDR bootable CD I created in the IDR Wizard does not work..
All that happens is I...
I already use Backup Exec 8.6 and v9.0, there is a backup-to-disk option in both that I know about and have used.
We get Veritas software here for free anyhow as we are a Veritas Partner, I'm just interested is there any software that backs up to hard disk and then to tape from the hard-disk...
I've currently been given the task of somehow being able to backup around 15 Windows 2000 Servers, and 8 UNIX/AIX boxes.
We've had several 'backup solution' providers ring us saying they would have some sort of backup solution that involved backing up to Hard disk during the night (daily)...
has anyone managed to get ipv6 working thru kerio winroute firewall 5 as yet, as i had it working to a computer inside my private network out to a ipv6 ip address on the net, and communication between the two machines worked perfectly.
Now in v5 i'm having problems even gettin Firewall 5 to let...
from what I remember of Winroute PRO 4.2 (I'm on v5.0 now) I would set the listen/source ip as any, and then just make an address group and only allow connections based on what was in a certain address group.
That way i could add as many ip's to my address group as i wanted and not have to...
