Thank you.....I noticed the code is referring to columns. I am using justified forms would it still all refer to columns? No rows?
I'm not a programmer so I have to ask stupid questions.
My guess is that some of the code will be different for me, being that my fields and form have a different...
I also don't want the user to be able to add data and only select from a combo list... I have set the the limit the list to yes....do I have to rebuild the form to inable this option?
I have simply scrapped everything and started over.....everything is working fine now..
(fingers crossed). I also re-installed access.
I'm trying to do something else now.......
I have one form/table for insurance companies (called: Insurance Company Info) it has ins. co. adress, phone, and...
I don't really know how to see the code...but I would be glad to email you the whole database? It's only about 700k and it's not a matter of national security.
FYI....I just now created a new version and it is working fine....I even saved it in a completely seperate folder...sounds stupid but...
I created a data base...I created the forms using the wizard....it worked perfectly....made 2 backups of it to be safe! I added a command button to one form to input data in another form......no problem....works like a charm. test it, tested it again, tested about 20-30 times. No problem! then...
Thank you...I was thinking that was the way to do it...it's just easier to ask someone who knows.
I prefer to run these filters in form view. I can see how you can use the relationship scenario for datasheet view, but how would you do it in form view?
Dear Friends.....I'm new here and also new to MS Access 2000.
I've built a database...the primary reason for this data base is to pull records. I don't even need to create queiries....I can get the data I want by simply creating advanced filter/sorts.
However....that only seems to work on one...
