Thank you for that information... Sadly, our highly cautious security team only opens up ports over the VPN that are explicitly known to be in use for a specific application.
If I could find out what ports the PBX needs to use, I can work up a request to get them opened...

That idea sounded wonderful - I went to implement it and realized my G3si(R8) doesn't support VDN/vectors...
I tried sending it to a hunt group, or just an extension, and DSA/ASA says I need to "enter attd or announcement extension"

Is there a way to discover what port a certain phone is on? Methods we use are dialing the attendant, or TTIing the phone in, and looking up the port number of the associated extension.
I searched and found a helpful post about creating announcements that would read back the extension number...
