    PCL XL errors! only with illustrator and power point.

    hello, I am having problems with a colour laser jet 5500. getting PCL XL error messages when printing large power point jobs. smaller jobs with text only are fine, but its only with larger jobs from photoshop, illustrator and powerpoint? is it a application issue?

    2500c --- Does not recognize CYM

    If it does not recognize the CMY, then you can do a cold reset without the cartridges in the printer (take EIO card out when doing so) and then it should recognize it. It should still print colour, but if not, try the cold reset. do you have the toolbox software for it?
