I'm not sure what the 'M' stands for but it basically means that there is a headset amplifier within the phone. Kind of like putting a Plantonics M12 amp in the device directly. With this type phone you could operate a headset or handset simultaneously. We have a few 6416M phones here but they...
We have a Cisco Call Manager in our admin office and phone sets in three locations in the U.S. (New York, Chicago, L.A.). We interface our PBX and the Call Manager via a DS1 and my PBX extension to Call Manager extension calls go across fine. However, I want to do toll bypass by routing calls...
Does anyone know how I can get my Cisco Call Manager phone to cover to my Audix VM? The two systems are linked via DS1 board and can exchange calls but I cannot figure out how to get Cisco to cover to Audix with RNA.

If you do a 'cha tru x' and go to the 4th page (I am on ver 7) you will see a name field next to the trunk port fields. I've seen several systems in which the programmer will list the cct ID next to the 1st channel on each T1 to use as and ID. I hope this helps.
