The virus defs are up to date and the...
This is driving me crazy, my boss's computer restarts it's self every other day between 1 & 1:30pm without any kind of notice. I've checked the event log, scheduled tasks and there is nothing logged that would explain the restarts. The screen simply goes black and the machine restarts. I...
I think you are on to something with problems with my "default user" profile as for the same slow login occurs also when signing on as a local user.
What might be the problem with the default profile? How do I correct it?
Thanks,

Does it create any unnecessary files, have you had any complications with your mailbox? Does it create Maps and do you sync with a palm device?

I have a public folder that is used to accept general mail for our company in which multiple users check and respond to. My issue is that if one user checks/reads a new mail, only for that user is email marked as read, the other users it is still bold/marked as unread. Is there a setting so...
Cheers to you Tommy, this just made my job a easier and one less distraction (Everytime I walk into the other office I'm bombarded with questions like, "hey, my computer at home can't connect to or can't install AIM could you . . . ?" and I really do want to help them out, but there is only so...
I have already set up DHCP and reserved a block of IPs for the 20 machines that need static IP. Right now we are making changes our system and I'm going to have to go to the office next door (I hate leaving the comfort of my cubicle) to manually change the addresses when everything is finalized...
I'm running SBS 2000 and would like to a way to manage static IP addresses from the managment console on the server. (the inventory system is on a SCO based system and some desktop machines need static IPs to communicate w/the Unix server).
Thanks in Advance,
Ryan
