    I'd appreciate instructions on how to retain RUN commands that you type in so you can use them again. The specific command I'm talking about is C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE USER.EXE,EXITWINDOWS . I have to use this to shut down; otherwise my computer hangs. Thanks, George

    Quickstart icons disappear

    Thanks for reply. When I start up, a row of icons appears to the left of the clock. I presume these are the "Quick Launch" icons. These are the ones that occasionally disappear, and which I can't get back without rebooting. Clicking on the Quick Launch name on Toolbars doesn't bring...
