A, Many thanks - this does import the file - but again it is only about 80MB or so - lots of stuff seems to be missing.

    Import .pst in Outlook

I created the archive manually - it wasn't an autoarchive folder. I used the Import/ Export file action. My guess is a corrupt file?

    Import .pst in Outlook

All, I archived some old emails a while ago. The way this was done was to place all the relevant emails in a few different folders, and I then exported all of them as one combined .pst file. The file came out at about 360MB. I placed this on CD and stored. Now I'm looking to re-import these...

    Unknown User on network

Feel free to move this if it's not in the correct thread. I have several desktops running Windows XP Pro on a Windows 2000 SBS network. The desktops run Office XP 2002. When someone logs onto a machine for the first time and opens and office application such as Word or Excel a popup appears...

    Copying Files Notifications

Many thanks for that - that looks perfect. Whilst I have the knowledge to do that - are there any windows based tools, with a more intuitive GUI that I can roll out to colleagues? (ie. maybe a piece of shareware/ software)? Many thanks.

    Copying Files Notifications

All, Simple one this one. I think! I have a large amount of files on my C drive that I want to copy over onto our office network. Maybe 5-6GB worth. What I want to do is to essentially press copy, then goto the destination and press Paste. This is fine, but when the files are transferring the...

    USB HDD Drive letter

rvnguy, Many thanks - yes that works for me. I changed my external HDD to T: and it showed up as T: on another machine. Is there a simple .bat file I could include on the root directory of this drive to do this automatically once clicked?

    USB HDD Drive letter

Hi all, I have a question which touches on several areas - but I thought this was the best area - feel free to move it if you think it's better off elsewhere. A project I'm working on requires me to pre-load a lot of information onto an external USB HDD. I need the files in read/write format...

    Slower RAM... worth it?

Pretty simple on this one. I've just bought a new PC, and it's got 256MB RAM (266mhz) in it. My old machine (which i'm getting rid of) has a stick of 256MB older RAM (133mhz i think). Is it worth putting in this RAM? Or would it just slow the machine down? Thanks

    CorelDRAW10 + XP (NTFS), and CorelDRAW11

Hi, I'm having great problems installing version 10 onto a Windows XP professional machine, with a NTFS HDD. I've looked at the support on corel.com and done everything they said, but i still can't get the programs to open properly. I think I may just upgrade to Graphics Suite 11. However...
