    The Teradata web based training CD's will prepare you for the Basics, and SQL exams. The SQL exam used to focus only on SQL course 1-3, but I took all 5 to prepare the the SQL test. Good Luck

    The Teradata WEB based training for Teradata Basics will prepare you for the TD Basics exam. The Web based training SQL 1,2,3 will prepare you for the SQL exam, but also take SQL 4,5, and I think ^6 is also available now. Good Luck.

    How to use ROWIDs?

    Why would you want to use rowid? There is no business value. I think the teradata manuals advise against using rowid because it's use may change at anytime.

    I use the code below to get the diff in seconds. I just added the '/ 60' to give minutes for your benefit. I think the cast to dec(10,0) should take care of the overflow error. Or make in dec(15,0) that's a bigger number. I hope you have trashy test data and you really don't need to...

    For Teradata: The order of preference for set operations is: 1. intersect 2. union 3. except from left to right however, the evaluation can be modified with parenthese.
