i found WIndows 2000 ran applications better than Windows ME on my AMD 500 laptop. Even the Office suite crashed with ME. I may try ME on someone elses computer, like my sister's, i'm mad at her anyway. -too late, her new Compaq laptop already has ME. poor thing!
