Mass change to Default Values for Nulls in Formula Editor

I'm upgrading reports from 8.5 to XI. I changed the default for NEW reports to use Default Values for Nulls in formulas. However, all the existing/converted reports' formulas are set to Exceptions for Nulls. Is there a way to change ALL the formulas at once in a report/subreport to 'Use...

    Pervasive/Btrieve link Index wierdness?

More info: DB1 field was defined as string of 6; DB2 string of 8. DB2 padded the string to append the 2nd index field and so was not a match. THAT is why new index with only OrderNumber field fixed the linking problem.

    Pervasive/Btrieve link Index wierdness?

If it's of help to anybody else: Crystal 9.5 and XI R2 P.SQL v8 Datafile version 6/7 When linking two files, the string fields would not link if field was part of multi-segment index (in both of the files). DB1 {IN-CRC-H.ShopOrderNo} - field was index 0 of two different 2-segment indexes DB2...

Compiled report CR 8.5 not suppressing sections

Yes, in Crystal those sections are suppressed (correctly). BTW, updating to SP2 on the compiled-version-only machine did not make a difference (still showing sections that are supposed to be suppressed).

Compiled report CR 8.5 not suppressing sections

Report runs fine in CR developer (8.5). In the compiled report, sections that should be suppressed are not. It happens with both 'always suppressed' sections and sections suppressed based on a formula. Other info, in case it helps: WinXP SP2 on the developer side, SP1 on the compiled reports...

Fixed my own problem. Had multiple views that didn't belong on a bunch of cxGrids. Now the project has about 320 components & it's FAST again. Sue

    Break points dont work

I have a D5 project with over 2800 components - no breakpoints. I'm in the process of moving it to D7, where it spends an hour+ with 98% CPU trying to do anything - code completion, compile . . . In D7, if I delete enough components to get under 2000, it comes back in 3-5 minutes. Working on...

I did find a reference to this happening if you install Outlook on top of Groupwise: http://its.ndsu.nodak.edu/help/groupwise-qa.htm#address_book_error

GW6 Remote user missing all address books

Groupwise 6, remote user only. All his address books have disappeared from the remote copy. On the server, system, personal, frequent add. books are fine. Did a connect to update address books specifically & it 'said' it was updating addresses, but still no address books. File / New Book or...

Excel 2000 file won't open in Excel 2002

tav, This other user is the only other person who uses this file. I modify it occasionally, but he (the customer) runs it weekly. He could open it (from his office network) on an Office2k machine, but not on his new OfficeXP. I can open from other both Off97 and O2K computers, either a local...

Excel 2000 file won't open in Excel 2002

tav, Just to be sure the file was self-contained, I disconnected from the network, copied the file to a different drive. I can still open it (and run the macros) just fine. No problem with links. retsyboss

Excel 2000 file won't open in Excel 2002

7 mb file w/vba. Can Open/Edit/Save in Excel 2000. Another user with Excel 2002 cannot open the file - gets hourglass and 100% CPU in tasklist. If I save it as an Excel 97, 2002 can't open that either. Ideas? Thanks, Sue
