There is only 1 other pst file - an "archive.pst" that is only 17 MB.
What has me confused is why my outlook.pst file is still about the same size(475 MB) as when I thought I archived. It just seems that the info (in/send files) that I'm desperately looking for - are still there, simply not...
In mid July 2004, noticed Outlook PST was about 475 MB, with info (In/Send emails) dating back to June 2003. Thought I properly archived around 7/15/04, and the In/Send emails were showing from April 2004 forward.
Went to restore yesterday, and cannot find the info from prior to April 2004...
We loaded ME upgrade over W98 about a year ago, and computer has started having many problems (hangs, freezes, certain software/hardware won't install or no longer works/frequent scandisks on reboots, etc.)
Would like to go back to W98, but my wife cannot remember if she elected to save those...
9 times out of 10, my W98 system will only boot up in Safe Mode.
Any suggestions as to how to isolate the problem would be greatly appreciated.

This is an old HD (1.5GB) that I'm simply trying to set up as a slave and need to fdisk and format. However, I can't seem to get past the response "No spacce to create a DOS partition."

Once this file is downloaded, am I to understand that I use wreckit.exe to create yet another floppy with the command
"wreckit /t a:"
OR
Do I put wreckit.exe on a floppy (seperate system) - then boot up the the computer with the questionable hard drive with a w95 floppy and...
Sorry to sound so ignorant, but I was trying to fdisk w/ a W95 start-up disk. Should I try a DOS (think I have 6.1) disk?
And if it accepts it, what do I need to do to fdisk the HD so I can format it?
Thx - Jack
One other question - what is procedure for adding a second drive (which was primary in previous computer and therefore has OS on it) that I simply want to acces for data and files recovery & transfer?
Can simply change jumpers and set bios for it?
If there is already a partition, should I not be able to format it?
When I try "format c:" - I get "invalid drive specification"
Thx -
When trying to fdisk a new drive (which will eventually be my slave drive) and I select "Create Primary DOS Partition" -I get response back - "No space to create a DOS parition" -
Can someone help tell me what I may be doing wrong?
Thank you.
