Hi there,
I have a compaq r3000 series laptop and would like to know if I have the cpu usage at 100% for 4 hours if that's going to damage the cpu at all. I ask because I'd like to convert some divx to dvd and that takes 100% cpu usage for about 4 - 5 hours. I don't want to burn out my $1600...
yah, turns out it was the way firefox displays the table. It put the flash image below the table instead of beside it like IE.
Thanks for the read though
Hey there,
I'm just learning flash and have some little animations for my site. In IE they work fine, in Firefox they don't even load. I did some reading and they talked about maybe I'm missing the embed tag or the parm tag but they are both in there... anyone run accross this?
Here is my code...
It's probably the AMD 64 bit driver if you have it installed. I posted the same thing and the 64 bit driver for XP 32 bit from AMD changes the voltage and speed to go with the needs of the comptuer user. Your BIOS will tell you what exactly your CPU is set for (1800 MHZ). I used everest home...
So I checked into this. I ran Everest Home Ed and at first it said it was only 800 MHZ, then I ran it about 2 minutes later and it said it was a 1600 MHZ cpu. So I checked the BIOS and it said it was 1800 MHZ. It's got the power now! AMD feature so I'm guessing it uses that to change the speed...
Sorry guys, not the RAM. I have a 64 meg dedicated card in there. 512 megs ram for the OS which is windows XP home + SP2. I can't rememer the CPU speed it says exactly, somewhere around the 300 MHZ mark... I'll have to check when I get home from work, I don't have it with me rightn ow.
Thanks.
I have a new Compaq 3440ca with the 64 bit amd athlon 3000+. Why in system info under the my computer properties does it only say I have a 384 MHZ cpu? The computer is still fast, just wondering if windows doesn't read the AMD chips correctly. I checked display models like mine too and they all...
I'm using apache for this one and I disabled simple file charing and gave 'EVEYONE' full control. Isn't it weird that it would work on my single upload script but not this multiple? That doesn't seem right to me, if it's a permissions error then neither should work right?
Thanks.
I'm getting this error when I try to use my multiple file upload script:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(c:\program files\apache group\apache2\htdocs\upload\): failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\file_functions.inc on line 51
I've checked both...
Hi there,
I have uploaded an image to my computer from my computer, I'm working on an upload function. Everything works great, the file gets uploaded where it should but when I try to use it in a webpage it's a red x and when I try to open it with MS pic viewer it says no preview available...
I have it all working and it copies the file to the dir I want but when I click on the image to open it, it says no preview available... the original opens fine in MS pic viewer but this uploaded one does not. What could be causing this?
Then I should be able to use $_FORMS anywhere, that's good.
Here is my HTML:
print "<html>";
print "<body>";
$form="<form method=\"post\" action=\"index.php\">
<input type=\"hidden\" name=\"seenform\" value=\"y\">
<input type=\"file\" name=\"vlu\"><br>
<input type=\"submit\" value=\"submit\">...
