why doesn't Samba Server want my password?
he's logged in in winxp with the same username as he has on the server, but the winxp account is one without password-protection, so the winxp maschiene cannot pass any password on to the server- wuelf

why doesn't Samba Server want my password?
hello, i've got a strange problem here. i set up a samba server on a trustix linux system, everything works fine except for the fact that a user on a windows maschine can log on to his account on the server without having to give a password. why? i don't understand whats going on, hope someone...- wuelf
