In Office 2000, my toolbar gets reset every time I start Excel. I set it to fit my needs and then when I close Excel, my setting disappear and the default settings come back. Is there a way to make them permanent?

I have used the find/replace option to find cells that are linked to other workbooks. Just use the workbook name in the "Find what" box (including the extension) and keep repeating. That is fairly simple if the link is in only a few cells and I know it works.

No such file exists. Here's another hint: I can change the toolbars in Word and they become permanent, but not in Excel. Also, my co-worker, with a similar system, can change it!! There must be some settings somwhere...

In a workbook, I have 3 sheets. In sheet 1 cell a5 is a blank cell. In sheet 2 cell a5 references cell a5 from sheet 1 (=sheet1!a5). This results in "0". In sheet 3 the same formula in cell a5 (=sheet1!a5) results in a blank cell. Why the differences? I would like them to be blanks...
