I found a Macro that would find the groups a user belonged to and add them to a comment field. I want to swap it around and provide a group name and have the comment field filled with the members of the group.
I am having problems with this section of code:

I would expect that you want to be looking at using Group permissions to restrict access to sites. As for specific content, it would make sense that you could use the group permissions as well or depending on where the data is can you use NTFS permissions?
Hi
I had properly installed into it's own site as I already had the Exchange installed first.... I actually did figure it out and feel a bit chagrined as it was the Windows firewall that was doing me in, which I thought I had checked but didn't recheck in the troubleshooting phase... All is...
I have a server with the following configuration/roles:
-DC
-Exchange 2007
-Sharepoint 3.0
-2 IP's on the NIC
-->1st configured on the Default Website
-->2nd configured on the Sharepoint Site
-DNS has an A entry for the server name and an A record for the Sharepoint site FQDN

I found a lovely piece of code that will recursively get the group membership from the DN of a initial group. I 'thought' I would be able to stick some of the code into a loop so that I could open a txt file of group DN's and have the program fetch all members for all the groups.... I just can't...

Thanks... :)
I haven't been able to find an answer to my dilemma exactly yet. :) The situation is that we want to install Sharepoint Services (not Portal) on a new 2003 server. We have another server that will be hosting 2 web pages and a 3rd server that will be hosting Exchange and OWA access.
My questions...
I am trying to help a client who when viewing message tracking log there is a chunk of time/messages that are missing yet when he checks the SMTP log he can see messages moving through the system when the time is missing in the message tracking log.
Anyone with ideas?
Ummm - I would tend to disagree, perhaps for this exam. I worked with the 2003 Server Cert Transcender and only just passed the 290 today. You really have to know 'networking' to pass this exam. I was consistently getting 85% and better on the Transcender and the exam questions were...
Can anyone confirm that the workstation entry in events 529 and 681 is where the attempt was made? I was examining a server with RDP and there are a number of failed audit attempts on the security log - there isn't a corresponding Successful event so I don't believe the system has been...
